Frequently asked questions

What if the playlist is huge?

We process up to 250 videos per batch. If the playlist is bigger, you'll see a notice and only the first 250 are included.

What URL formats are accepted?

Standard playlist URLs (youtube.com/playlist?list=...) and watch-with-list URLs (watch?v=X&list=...) both work. You can also paste just the playlist ID.

What if a video has no captions?

It's listed in manifest.json as skipped — the other transcripts still come through. Private, age-restricted, or removed videos are also marked there.
